No Power In The World Can Take An Inch From India: Rajnath Singh
NEW DELHI : Amid ongoing tensions with China, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Leh on Friday morning to review the overall security situation in the Aceh region. Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat and Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane are also on tour with Singh. After landing in Ladakh, Defense Minister Stakna visited the Forward area. There the soldiers showed him the parading ability of the armed forces.
Speaking to Indian Army and ITBP personnel at the Lukang post near Pangong Lake in Ladakh, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that no power in the world could take even an inch of India. Negotiations are underway to resolve the border dispute between India and China. While India hopes to resolve the dispute with China through talks, there is no guarantee of what the final outcome will be, Singh said.
"I cannot guarantee the extent to which the dispute will be resolved, but I can assure you that no power in the world can take an inch from India," he said. The defense minister's remarks have boosted the morale of Indian Army and ITBP personnel.

This is the Secretary of Defense's two-day visit to Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. He will be on a visit to Ladakh today. He will visit Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow. The lion has arrived in Leh as military tensions between Indian and Chinese troops continue in the sensitive sector. India and China have held four rounds of talks to withdraw troops from eastern Ladakh.
